Dear Friends,
I hope this email finds you all well and getting ready for the busy holiday season ahead – or at least just looking forward to it. Thank you all for a fun in 2023, three small group tours and endless private itineraries made for a GREAT year of travel and adventure!
SOME CHANGES...
1. GREECE? Yes! Due to national issues we sadly had to postpone our sold-out Peru trip earlier this year, but for next year we broadened our scope again – let’s go to GREECE! I’ve known for a long time what sort of special experience I wanted to offer when I returned to Greece, but, I needed to partner with a local expert. Research and phone calls led me to Denise, a British tour director with a breadth of experience and her own travel company. Highly recommended, Denise is fluent in Greek and has a passion for Greece that matches my passion for Italy – we’ve obviously clicked! She has happily agreed to be our local expert and daily guide. 2. The requests for UN-ACCOMPANIED & ACCOMPANIED PRIVATE travel experiences, each individually curated to satisfy your wish list, your pace and your budgets – have TRIPLED this year. These requests for a private travel experience are what I offer beyond the small groups I lead throughout the year.
* The UN-Accompanied Independent Private Tour is a detailed customized itinerary for just 1 to 6 travelers - you and your partner, your family or a very small group of friends. Imagine a shared Air BB, small trattoria seating and maybe a comfy 7 passenger Mercedes van with a driver. These unaccompanied small group options are endless – from budget to luxury, city to sea.
* The Accompanied private GROUP tour ideally consists of 8 to 14 travelers, an already established group of your “favorite peeps”. The accompanied private groups also have their own perks. Think of exclusive cooking classes and chartered sail boats, just for your party, “Save the Date” invitations and communications, and of course my full-time availability together with your group throughout your Italian experience.
I’m passionate about the collaboration process for both types of groups; accompanied and UNaccompanied. From your first call to your flight home, through all the details, reservations and travel challenges, I’m dedicated to providing a RICH AND SEAMLESS REWARDING EXPERIENCE!

3. I repeated a tour! It was always a point of pride for me to say I had never repeated a tour twice – maybe some of the same places, but each tour had it’s own different theme or focus. Well - never say never! The Food Festivals and Wine of Italy tour was so fun and so unique, it just had to be repeated. Not just for the tortellini-obsessed, but for anyone interested in the origins of Italy’s most famous foods and wines, anyone eager to join Italians celebrating their oldest traditions – this tour is a winner! WHAT HASN’T CHANGED?
My wish for you to travel, with or without me. It’s a big world and there’s much to see and experience. I still believe the moments we spend away from our daily routine and outside our comfort zones, to experience other cultures, see what we’ve never seen, meet strangers that become friends, are the moments that turn ordinary into the extra-ordinary. These are the significant and unforgettable moments of our lives.
