What We'll Do and Where We'll Go

  • Your Italian experience starts in vibrant Bologna, Italy’s culinary capital. Here you’ll meet the cheese masters and taste your way through a Parmiggiano Cheese farm, visit a vineyard to learn about traditional and true, sweet-tart Balsamics and discover the essential process and complexities of delicate, salt cured Prosciutto.
  • Stay at a picturesque Tuscan villa in the charming Etruscan town of Cortona. Wander the serene gardens of Saint Francis’ retreat. Meet the local Olive Oil Mill harvesters, learn about extra virgin olive oil, pour your own fresh gold to bring home. In the good company of our favorite wine maker explore the philosophy, cultivation and flavors of Sangiovese, Brunello and Chianti wines.

  • Spend your free time discovering small towns. Climb the panoramic fortress in Montalcino. Meet the working artisans in the colorful ceramics town of Deruta. Visit the monastery of Sant’Antimo and relax in a centenarian olive grove while listening to Gregorian monks chant.

  • Participate in Spello’s Flower Festival, a true “hands-on” experience joining the locals for a very special all day- and-night dedication. Using only flower petals, create vibrant “flower carpets” along the town’s narrow streets.

  • Watch the drama unfold at Orvieto’s Medieval Parade. Marvel at the art history of their awe-inspiring Cathedral and down the Caves and Wells of St Patrick.

  • Cross a gorge on a footbridge to explore the disappearing charming hill town of Civita Bagnoreggio.

  • Trek off the beaten path along Saturnia’s coutry side and natural streams. Reward yourself with a full day of relaxation at a private, 5 star Thermal Spa Resort.

  • A food-filled evening walk through softly lit piazzas in historical Rome is your final indulgence.

Raise a glass of vino with friends, “here’s to authentic experiences and life-time memories - until next time!”
