Your trips to Italy and your one day sessions at museums and such around DC for various presentations and concerts (as well mixing the art appreciation lectures with pizza and vino) are definitely a cut above trips I've made with others. You tirelessly put so much of yourself into all these events. I've been on a number of European trips with ski clubs and sailing clubs. Their trips have printed itineraries and when you arrive you are on your own with your packet of info. Their tour guide becomes just one of your fellow travelers. Not so with Dolce Vita Adventures, you are very much involved with every aspect of the trip during the trip. I've been of a few of your trips, and met others that have been on your trips a multiple of times, and we all agree, that you devote the same energy to the success of the tour every time. You have a great talent of getting a compatible group together and providing them an absolutely wonderful vacation. We can't wait to go on another of your trips to Italy, party at your socials in DC, and of course another session at Galileo's! Ciao, Sibilla

"Ciao Sybilla, The trip was another great Italian experience. I thought nothing could be as good as the Tuscany tour… and of course I was wrong! This trip equals it and yet was so different My very favorite moment was walking the marble streets of Pompeii – until we came to the incredible sights of the Amalfi Coast – until came to the magnificent Positano (even the 200+ steps) – until we came to Taormina's grandeur – until we climbed Mt. Etna – until we came to Rome (even after 3 times!) and I could go on and on! The sights, the sounds and tastes of Italy are now a part of me forever. Thanks to you for making the historical and cultural experience come to life with the every day experiences that you search out for us. It's the best. I've never traveled anywhere where the food, wine and camaraderie are so… "bella"! Take care –
Mary Ann (Columbus, Ohio)

I didn't get a chance after the wedding to tell you what a great job you did on Mike and Kelly's wedding. Michael is very special to me and by making his most important day something so beautiful for my family and me makes you also very special in my book. We saw a part of Italy that friends of ours who had been there have never seen. It was my first trip and I have always hesitated because I didn't want to go to Italy as a "tourist". You made me feel like I belonged there and was part of the towns, not on the outside looking in. It was literally the trip of a lifetime for my mother and I thank you again for making it so special for "her Michael". We will join you on what I hope are many more trips to the "place where my soul lives".

Dear Sybil...Just a note to again thank you for the beautiful time in Positano...I can't believe it is over and that I was actually there. It was like a fairytale. It is very had getting back to reality in Exton, PA! I hope we can go to Italy together again in the near future...I have several friends lined up already for 2006… Stay in touch
Trudy T. (Exton, PA)

Dear Sybil,
The tour was even more than I had hoped for or imagined. Italy is such a beautiful and magic place that I still have not been able to put my feelings into words. The only change I could suggest would be to stay longer on the Amalfi coast and in Taormina, and you have already made plans to do that! The hotels we stayed at were way beyond expectations (especially Positano where we received such personal service) and the dinners you planned for us were memorable. We are working on the photos and also something for your comments page. Keep us posted of any upcoming events. And keep us informed of the future trips. You haven't seen the last of us, but next time we hope to be able to speak some Italian - got to find a class.
Fondly,
Sylvia and Bill W. (Portsmouth, VA)

Sybil,
My first Dolce Vita trip was great. I agree that there was a "family" atmosphere on the trip and being my first trip with the group I felt very comfortable. You were a great tour director because you were flexible, had great energy, and wanted us to have fun. You are also compassionate and have a saintly amount of patience. I though Carolina and Angelo were excellent guides. Thanks for a great tour and do keep me on the mailing list.
Ciao,
Kay C (Metaire, LA.)

Hi Sybil:
Thank you for all your hard work in making our trip, the wedding, everything, --- a huge success! We'll all be talking about it for a long, long time. There are no words or pictures that can truly describe the beauty of Italy and how it feels to those back home. They'll just have to go themselves one day. Best regards.
Ronnie T (PA)

Thank you for making my first trip to Tuscany…magical, memorable, moving. Looking forward to returning.

"We have had five vacations in Italy, and dolce vita provided us with our first truly Italian adventure. We'd go again in a minute! Sign us up for September 2004"
Diana (Alexandria, VA)

Sybil,
Thank you for all your efforts in putting together such a fantastic tour. I can't imagine it's easy pulling together very diverse people and making them all feel comfortable together. The sights of Italy were unbelievable and all the tour guides knowledgeable. I can't say enough about just how fun, relaxing, educational and just "sensory overload" the experience was for me. Grazie!
Warmly,
Donna T (Falls Church, Virginia)

Dear Sybil,
It's good to be home but I will never forget my Italian experience with you and the others in our group. It just couldn't have been any better. I especially enjoyed the feasts we all shared. My taste buds will never be the same. Thank you for all the work you did to make our activities so informative and fun. Until our next trip, ciao-ciao!
Gwen V (Biloxi, MS)

We just wanted to thank you for a fantastic adventure. It literally has been a decade since our family traveled together and we could not have asked for a better reintroduction to the "experience". You did a fantastic job and we are sure there will be 22 smiling faces when the next trip is announced. Thank you for enriching our lives with your humor, wit and endearing personality.
We eagerly anticipate the next experience.
The Lilly's (Woodbridge, VA and New York)

Dear Sybilla,
This is a totally inadequate note to say thank you for a spectacular experience in Italy with you. We've traveled a lot, and this was at the top for us. Your care for all of us baby chicks was so thorough and so evident-from your successful efforts to find adjoining seats in the plane going over to your last, "be safe in Rome" (we were). Many, many thanks!
Steve & Diana R (Falls Church, VA)

"An incredible experience. I definitely will be participating in future Dolce Vita adventures. You presented your Italy to us--up close and personal--a dynamic, gorgeous, exhilarating, breathtaking journey. My previous tour of Italy, with a well-known tour company, pales in comparison.
Mille Grazie, Sybil!"
Angela (Manassas, VA)

"The natural beauty of Tuscany and the warmth of its people, combined with the humor and creativity of Sybil, is an unbeatable combination. This trip was so much more than simply seeing the major towns and tourist areas of the Tuscan region. Sybil's choices of lodgings and planned activities (cooking classes, wine and olive oil tours, and hill town visits) gave us many opportunities to get to experience the warmth and kindness of the Italian people. There was plenty of free time to explore on your own, as well, and Sybil's language skills really came in handy in arranging for car rentals. This vacation was truly special!"
Peggy (Annandale, VA)
